Back during the Obama administration, one of his chief medical types was on TV angrily denouncing the return of measles to the US and stating it was caused by antivaxxers. First time I recall hearing the term. I thought then that no, it was caused by all the unvetted illegals they were bringing in and busing all around the country who were bring measles and undoubtably other diseases too. I thought it was part of the ploy to get everyone demanding single payer health care. I also wondered, as you do, if the disease was eradicated, why is it wrong to not get vaccinated for it?
Around this time I went in to the facility lounge at the med school, two of my esteemed colleges were heatedly discussing the ignorance of antivaxxers. I wondered where this sudden interest and anger over those who choose to get vaccinated came from. I am now thing that whole episode was part of the conditioning for the covid clot shot.
I look at a lot of my education and a good part of it was "conditioning."
The condescension and disdain to those who think differently are a sad legacy of all this. Disagreement is hate, and stating facts is harassment.
If it is ignorance, and there will be ignorance from time to time, would it not be better to have that ignorance spoken? Let the best information prevail.

Part of the conditioning, I agree with you.

I would think so. Allows it to be corrected, too.
